At Opulent Journey Hub, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling or modifying your bookings with us.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to bookings@opulentjourney.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving your cancellation request.

Cancellation Timeline

Full Refund

60+ days before departure

100% refund

Cancel 60 or more days before your scheduled departure and receive a full refund minus any non-refundable deposits paid to third-party suppliers.

Partial Refund

30-59 days before departure

50% refund

Cancellations made 30-59 days before departure are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount, excluding non-refundable deposits.

No Refund

Less than 30 days before departure

No refund

Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure are non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.

Cruise Bookings

  • Cruise cancellations are subject to the cruise line's specific cancellation policies
  • Most cruise lines require 90+ days notice for full refunds
  • Cancellation fees vary by cruise line, destination, and season
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended for cruise bookings

Changes & Modifications

  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur fees
  • Date changes requested 30+ days before departure: $150 per person
  • Destination changes may be treated as cancellations
  • Name changes must be requested at least 14 days before departure

Emergency Cancellations

  • Medical emergencies with doctor's note may be eligible for special consideration
  • Natural disasters affecting your destination may qualify for full refunds
  • Travel advisories issued by government agencies may affect refund eligibility
  • Documentation must be provided within 48 hours of cancellation

Refund Processing

Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking. Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

Third-Party Suppliers: Some components of your booking may be provided by third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines) who have their own cancellation policies. These policies may be more restrictive than ours.

Non-Refundable Items: Certain promotional rates, special offers, and discounted bookings may be non-refundable. These will be clearly marked at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance can cover:

  • Trip cancellations due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Medical emergencies during travel
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Travel delays and missed connections

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, natural disasters, pandemics, or government travel restrictions), we reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your travel or provide alternative options. Refunds in force majeure situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
